Third Year of Being Named a Detroit Free Press Top Workplace

Beth Spaman and Caryn Westra

Choice Schools is proud to announce it has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 distinction by Detroit Free Press. The honor is based on anonymous employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC, that measures multiple aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

This is the third year in a row that we have been honored with this award because of all of our employees.

“At Choice Schools, we continue to not only put students first but people first,” Beth Spaman, Chief Human Resources Officer said. “Recognition as a Top Workplace underscores our commitment to our people by recruiting and retaining the best teachers, staff and leaders and giving them opportunities to thrive. We will continue to foster an environment that is centered on learning, being student-focused and supporting the communities we serve throughout the state of Michigan.”

Choice is guided by our company values centered on people – student-focused, teamwork, expecting greatness, servant leadership and open communication.

Thank you to our Choice Schools family for making us Michigan’s premier school management company!
