The time has come to wish him farewell

As many of you have heard, Adam Holcomb has decided to go out on his own and live out his dream of owning his own financial services company. Adam has served the boards of Choice Schools Associates for the past 12 years where he has been a constant support and change agent for our schools. His expertise and commitment to making student-centered decisions will surely carry over in his new venture.

“It has been an incredible journey these past 12 years and I have truly enjoyed my time at Choice Schools,” Adam said. “Working with and alongside all the boards and school staff has been an amazing experience. Having Choice in education is extremely important to me and I look forward to this next chapter and continuing to work with charter schools.”

In 2016 when Adam launched his business, he dreamed of going out on his own and growing his business. The time has now come that Adam’s company is poised for such exponential growth, that it is time to say goodbye. Adam’s last day is June 30, 2020. He will continue to work this summer to ensure the transition is flawless and also coach Chris Slater, Choice’s new CFO.

Chris Slater comes to us from Catholic Charities West Michigan where he served as the CEO since 2017 and as their CFO for two years before that. His expertise and dedication to serving children in Michigan were just a few reasons he was chosen for the position.

We wish Adam all the best in his new endeavor. He is hardworking, passionate and dedicated to providing honest financial advising. His depth of knowledge of charter schools and his commitment to the students we serve will be greatly missed.
