Dear Choice Schools Colleagues and Friends,
As we launch into our long-awaited holiday break, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your continued support, reflect on 2021 and look ahead at the year to come. Our priority is educating students. We remain devoted to that more than ever and will continue to do whatever it takes to remain a student-focused organization.
The past two years have challenged our patience, purpose, and passion. Yet, time and time again, in the midst of it all, there is so much to be proud of. I’d like to highlight a few memorable moments from this year that may bring a smile to your face. These include:

Increasing our teacher and staff referral rate by more than 30% during a national labor crisis.

Garnering the attention of local and national news like Yahoo! and Good Morning America; our schools were in the spotlight!

Hosting and facilitating 167 professional development trainings and events.

Retaining more than 80% of our students from last year.

Recording the highest enrollment growth in the history of six of our schools.

Stewarding thousands of federal and state grant dollars to ensure the most significant impact on student outcomes.

Ensuring our students and staff’s health, safety, and well-being was top of mind in all situations.
All while being laser-focused on learning loss and amplifying our efforts to assure our communities felt engaged and supported. These moments and achievements would not have been made possible without our wonderful boards, authorizers, staff, and families that strive to provide the best education possible to our students.
Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to your schools, the charter school community, and the school choice movement. Continuing to move the needle on education is our commitment to you!
